What you will enjoy doing

– In this role, you will provide safety support to project execution, including follow-up of construction activities and report of incidents and accidents
– You will visit project sites and facilities to provide technical guidance in preventing accidents and incidents
– Further, you will perform accident investigations including root cause analyses of injuries, illnesses, and key incidents
– Also, you will perform corrective actions following citations or safety incidents to remain within compliance of occupational and health regulations
– You will be in charge to develop and apply Construction Safety, guidelines, new procedures and tools to improve HSE performance
– Moreover, you will support and perform internal safety audits and assessments for primarily the US projects and LE Americas Projects outside the US as and when needed
– Support the Regional HSE training and onboarding initiatives, conceptualize and support development of new Training courses
– In this function, you will identify improvement opportunities for the companys work process, standards, and policies in relation to construction, and commissioning safety
– On top of this, you will participate in global safety initiatives including writing and updating safety manuals, standards, and guideline

What makes you great

– You must have bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in chemical engineering or a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, as a HSE Manager
– Further, you must have at least ten years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following: safety assessments and inspection; ; incident and accident investigation; root cause analysis; p and developing corrective and preventive actions based on risk and implementation
– In addition, you must have three years of experience in developing and implementing required safety training; evaluating occupational health exposure and risk and initiative preventive actions; conceptualizing and developing safety improvement programs; health, safety, and environment (HSE) training and development; assessing HSE technical training requirements; conceptualizing training content and coverage
– You will be developing training course materials for other professionals and leading internal HSE assessments
