Greet, engage, and assist customers
Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Understand the point of sale system and handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit/debit, Snap EBT, Offline Snap EBT, WIC, Rainchecks, complex loyalty offers, coupons, and check out procedures according to company policy
Understand and adhere to the companys limits on cash shortages and/or overages and work honestly and effectively to control loss
Report pricing discrepancies to the scan coordinator
Stay current with present, future, and seasonal and special ads
Adhere to all the food safety regulations and guidelines
Follow established policies and procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
Any other job duties designated by management
Background requirements:
Candidates must pass a drug screen and a background check. Convictions will be reviewed on case-by-case basis; convictions will not necessarily bar a candidates employment
