ESG Project Coordinator

Summary:
Meta’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) team oversees responsible business strategy, governance, cross-functional engagement and reporting at Meta. The ESG Project Coordinator will play a key role in executing logistics around ESG compliance, developing tools, training, and resource materials, and tracking progress as Metas ESG program evolves. Additionally, this position will focus on engaging and raising internal awareness among employees, ensuring teams are equipped to support ESG initiatives.

ESG Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement an ESG awareness plan to enable cross-functional teams to contribute to ESG efforts.
2. Coordinate and deliver ESG trainings and workshops
3. Prepare reports, talking points, presentations and program updates.
4. Develop and execute internal/external communications strategies and content, collaborating with key teams (e.g. Communications).
5. Support team members to deliver on key projects, as needed. This may include: scheduling and managing calendars for team members, drafting tools, templates and resources, conducting research on ESG topics, and tracking regulatory developments

6. 3 years of advocacy, awareness-raising, and/or communications experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related role
7. Demonstrated interest in and understanding of trends and best practices in ESG, sustainability and responsible business practices, including reporting landscape.
8. Experience with communication, as well as powerpoint/graphic communication skills
9. Experience developing clear, concise, and compelling materials for internal stakeholders and communicate through a variety of vehicles (emails, presentations, infographics, etc.)
10. Experience communicating complex subject matter in business terms, taking technical information and making it digestible
11. Proactive and creative approach to developing solutions to problems and balancing multiple priorities
12. Collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills, with experience working in a highly matrixed environment

$116,000/year to $166,000/year bonus equity benefits
