Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a Minuteman III (MMIII) Program Manager to join our MMIII Systems team for an exciting opportunity supporting both acquisition program for the MMIII weapon system. The successful candidate will provide program and project management support the Strategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS) Acquisition Programs. This program is designed to extend MMIII systems life and transition into the follow-on system, known as Sentinel ICBM System (formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD))
Candidates may be called upon to augment organic resources by providing breadth and depth of capabilities for:
Sustainment/Transition/Deployment Schedule Management
Weapon System Risk Management
Mission Integration Management
Enterprise Management
Potential candidates will validate the abilities to accomplish the following activities while demonstrating strong leadership attributes of a team of subject matter experts accomplishing the same:
Manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate and execute MMIII Acquisition Program Support through all phases awarded by the Government. Achieve financial, schedule, technical and new business performance objectives. Participate in support of new business. Model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. Exhibition of direct people management responsibility/capability is required.
Attend internal and external meetings as required to cover both business items and customer requirements. Review and approve all correspondence delivered to customer as deliverable item. Follow all required processes especially the peer review process to ensure quality of products being delivered.
Maintain a high level of expertise in DoD Acquisition related requirements. Execute A&AS efforts according to DoD 5000-series instructions. Ensure program and project personnel retain highest levels of knowledge as related to their programs/area of subject matter expertise. Oversee cost, schedule and technical/performance of existing contracts.
Direct project and program activities or segments of major projects. Review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports. Assess issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
Directly support government leadership and maintain strong customer relationships.
Maintain other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree
At least 10 years experience in direct Program Management (8 years with Master s)
Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills.
Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years
At least 5 years experience leading technical teams
Experience managing large projects
Demonstrated strong leadership skills specifically: setting expectations, managing work, and leading individuals and teams
Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work with successful results
Experience with managing/forecasting budget requirements
Ability to manage personnel (individual/team environment) in execution of short/long programmatic goals/objectives
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Graduate degree and/or PMP certification
Previous work with DoD, USAF or other military communication systems
Experience managing within, or entire, DoD acquisition programs in a Systems Program Office
Experience with technical systems
10 years ICBM Weapon System experience
General knowledge of MS Project, Primavera or other scheduling tools
General knowledge of requirements management tools
General knowledge of product lifecycle management tools
General knowledge of model-based systems engineering processes
General knowledge of software development, integration and deployment in a DevSecOps and/or Cloud environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 – $195660
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
