Develop in-depth market intelligence of the North American sterile container industry
Analyze and assess customer information to foster business development
Collect, share and collaborate with Sales to establish a clear understanding of the market and key competitors
Monitor and advise on the competitive landscape
Understand existing and new business segments, and how to penetrate
Analyze future requirements to product, services, business models and key contributors
Identify, evaluate and build new partnerships along the value chain
Identification of business potential, understand any related requirements and execute into project drafts
Remain focused and knowledgeable on sterile container products and requirements; serve as the subject matter expert of sterile containers
Apply product knowledge to attract new customers and to define the develop specifications
Interface with customers and account managers to obtain the required background information on projects to ensure project viability and successful outcomes
Support the preparation of sales budget; provide long-term prognosis on project basis
Your Profile
BS in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields, required
A minimum of 5 years of experience within business development of parental drugs (technical or sales related) within business-to-business environment of an international organization
Prior experience in a fast-paced pharmaceutical packaging/biotechnology/ medical device industry, preferrable
Strong project management skills
Experience with trade shows, business meetings and trainings
Self-motivated and perseverance to hit targets and deadlines
Multi-tasking abilities and prioritization
Detail oriented approach
Service oriented
Forward thinking
Analytical and conceptual skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to read, write and speak English language
