This will be your standing schedule. We are looking for a RT that can work the following schedule below consistently.
8 hours depending on caseload
Saturday and Sunday
Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Looking for a full time talented and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
Job Description
Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non respiratory illness.
Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
Complete a variety of bedside treatments
Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
Attend applicable IDT meetings
Experience with tracheotomy
Experience is a long term care setting
Follow procedure and protocol of facility
Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management
Performs related duties as required

Omniflow – Biofeed back
Group respiratory therapy
Standardized respiratory testing
Aerosol therapy
IPPB therapy
Incentive Spirometry
Chest physiotherapy

Bronchial hygiene therapy
PEP therapy
Postal Drainage
Positioning
Oro/Naso-pharyngeal suctioning
Airway clearance/management techniques
Trachea-bronchial suctioning
Tracheostomy care
Spirometry Bedside Testing
CPAP/BIPAP
High-Flow Oxygen
Cardiac Program
Pulmonary Program
Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.
