As a Product Manager in Trust and Safety, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the products key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Deliver new product enhancements and offerings by working directly with technology, business and operations partners, to define efforts, write effective requirements to deliver outstanding results
Assist the Product Owner to develop a strategic analysis approach and structure required to achieve key deliverables and assist in overall project management, risk management, and organizational readiness activities
Facilitate sprint planning with stakeholder groups to drive alignment and visibility for which features will be built. Drives the Product Backlog Review
Maintain the backlog of features / user stories and assist in determining sprint priorities aligned to larger experience journey priorities and vision of the product leadership team
Update leadership on the Epic and Feature delivery road map, including escalating dependencies impacting deliverables, along with recommended solutions
Coordinates User Acceptance Testing and Business / Operations Readiness
Monitor systems production health and act swiftly when issues arise that may impact customer experience or the business
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or AML/BSA role
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
BA/BS or relative experience.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of JIRA and Scrum events (backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospectives).
Intellectually curious, committed, self-starter who is capable of working under minimum supervision
Expert at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in high-pressure environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with outstanding presentation and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Knowledge of Fircosoft and/or other Screening Filter tools.
Prior experience with JP Morgan Chase end-to-end Sanctions List Screening program including Business, Operations, or Global Financial Crimes Compliance.
Amazon Cloud training certification.
Advanced data analytics skills and familiarity using SQL.
Recognized as subject matter expert within Payments or a related organization.
