Main Responsibilities: – Review prescriptions issued by physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed – Compound sterile and non-sterile medications, using standard formulas and processes, such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients – Direct other pharmacy employees engaged in mixing, packaging, labeling, and changing prescription orders – Responsible for the accurate intake of prescription orders and the efficient fulfillment of orders – Dispense medications, support/counsel nursing facility staff on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications, and advise physicians about medication therapy – Counsel nursing facility staff about general health topics, such as diet, exercise, and stress management, and provide information on products, such as durable medical equipment or home healthcare supplies

This is a fully on-site position in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Work Environment

1st Opening: 7 days on, 7 days off, Thursday to Wednesday: Thursday 9p-7a (30 minute break) Friday 9p-9a (30 minute break) Saturday 9p-9a (30 minute break) Sunday 9p-6a (30 minute break) Monday 9p-6a (30 minute break) Tuesday 9p-6a (30 minute break) Wednesday 9p-6a (30 minute break) 66.5 hours worked every 2 weeks (paid 76.5 hours every 2 weeks) Training M-F for 4 weeks on days/evenings and then transition to overnights 7 days on, 7 days off
