About this role:

We are seeking a versatile Digital Marketing Content Strategy Manager to lead both overarching and product-specific content strategies. In this role, you will develop and manage content frameworks that align with business objectives while optimizing the digital presence of our product portfolio. You will collaborate with Business Units, digital SMEs, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, taxonomy, and a seamless user experience across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Manage Content Frameworks: Create content frameworks that align with broader business goals, ensuring consistency across platforms while maintaining flexibility for specific content needs.

Overarching Content Strategy: Lead the development of content strategies that define guidelines for content creation, distribution, and optimization across multiple channels.

Product Content Strategy: Partner with Business Units and digital SMEs to define and execute content strategies that support the digital presence of our products, focusing on taxonomy, messaging, and user experience.

Taxonomy and Structure Management: Oversee the creation and management of taxonomies, tagging strategies, and metadata to enhance both product and overarching content discoverability and relevance.

Messaging Framework: Develop and manage a consistent messaging framework that aligns with business objectives, ensuring it reflects both product value propositions and brand voice across all channels.

User Experience Optimization: Collaborate with UX, design, and development teams to ensure that all content enhances the user experience, improving engagement and conversion.

Content Performance Audits: Regularly audit both overarching and product content performance to identify gaps, measure effectiveness, and use insights to refine and optimize strategies.

Content Workflow Oversight: Oversee the entire content lifecycle, from strategy and planning through creation, review, and publication, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.

Governance and Compliance: oversees content optimization and syndication across digital platforms, ensuring adherence to governance policies, brand consistency, quality, and legal compliance.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, UX, and design teams to align content with user experience and business objectives across both overarching and product-focused initiatives.

Content Best Practices: Develop and enforce content guidelines, templates, and best practices for content creation, editing, and distribution across both product and general content.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

7 years of experience in digital content strategy.

5 years of experience with digital project management.

5 years of experience working in matrixed, cross functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience in content strategy, with a strong background in developing and managing content frameworks for digital platforms.

Expertise in managing content taxonomies, tagging structures, and metadata to improve content organization, discoverability, and relevance for both overarching and product-specific content.

Strong understanding of content governance, ensuring all content meets brand standards, quality requirements, and compliance regulations.

Proven experience in product content strategy, with the ability to create and optimize content that enhances the digital presence of products.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, UX, and design.

Strong analytical skills, with experience auditing content performance and using data to drive strategic decisions.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), digital marketing tools, and best practices for SEO and UX.

Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or content-heavy, product-focused industries.

Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex content workflows and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of emerging content trends and best practices in both digital content strategy and product content optimization.

Expertise in leading content syndication efforts across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with both product and overarching business goals.
