Job Description

A large vision insurance company is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team for a contract role in Mason, OH. This person will be working on the operations team supporting their production team. The main responsibilities include the following.

Monitoring requests (plan design) to then translate this benefit plan to a large excel template, once the template is validated they will run this through a proprietary system which creates the product. This person must ensure the information is accurate and matches the proposal.

Responsible for product configuration accuracy utilizing the configuration tools for manual and automated product creation.

Write SQL queries and export from database to analyze and troubleshoot configuration issues, as well as perform issue resolution of requests.

Perform and resolve product configuration questions/issues sent to the Business Configuration production team without guidance.

Maintain relationships with Implementation Managers, Account Managers, and develop a cohesive cross functional, results driven working environment.

Skills and Requirements

3 years of experience as a Data Analyst in a highly regulated field (healthcare, finance, banking, insurance, etc.)

2 years SQL experience – manipulating queries and exporting data from database tables into Excel for analysis

2 years MS Excel experience

Working on site 2 days/ week Facets

Healthcare background

Claims experience

Provider experience null
