Role Summary/Purpose:

This AVP, Consumer Bank Customer Analytics role will be responsible for delivering insights and thought leadership to the broader Consumer Bank team through analytics that support the achievement of Consumer Bank growth goals, growth and retention of customer relationships, and ad-hoc analyses to understand product enhancements and opportunities to improve the customer experience. This role partners closely with the Marketing, Operations and Digital Analytics teams and also coordinates with the broader analytics team to leverage multiple data sources and types to provide cohesive analytics that inform and direct strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

Own end to end analytics of lifecycle marketing campaigns and provide insights that help understand how to deepen the customer relationship, drive deposit growth and enhance the customer experience

Become a proficient user of the Curinos Amplero Marketing tool to drive Lifecycle Marketing and analytics of marketing campaigns. Partner closely with the internal Deposits Data Warehouse and external Curinos teams as an SME of data shared and logic needed to create target customer segments and actions and provide data support to the Curinos team

Understand the Consumer Bank customer and provide insights to the Lifecycle Marketing team that help create targeted marketing campaigns that drive customer retention and balance growth

Own all dashboard, reporting and insights generation of the customer digital application journey. Identify opportunities to create new tools that eliminate manual processes and support data driven decision-making and drive business performance

Partner with Technology and Operations to conduct extensive analysis to understand and identify product and servicing issues that impact the customer experience

Conduct extensive analysis to understand and identify addressable opportunities to improve customer experience and enhance products with the Product and Strategic Initiatives teams

Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelors degree OR in lieu of a degree, 8 years of experience in customer data analytics

A minimum of 5 years progressive work experience with customer data analytics to include:

4 years actively using and optimizing SAS or SQL to pull and summarize large datasets and perform ad-hoc analyses

Experience transforming raw data into actionable insights, including designing and leading presentations to senior leadership

Desired Characteristics:

Experience using large quantities of data from various sources and performing advanced analytics to drive decision-making

Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data and understand the underlying business context and sense potential business opportunities

Experience developing advanced data visualizations and presentations with Tableau

Highly motivated, self-directed and curious to learn new technologies

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to present to business users or management teams

Strong leadership, analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Experience influencing and directing people within and outside of reporting structure

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 – 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

You must be 18 years or older

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you dont meet the time in position or performance expectations).
