Job Description Summary

Test Facilities Electrical Engineering (TFEE) is a group of Electrical and Computer Engineers whose mission is to provide engineering services for design and build-up of test infrastructure and enabling systems in support of the engineering initiatives. TFEE

integrates test cell systems capabilities to the test article while striving to exceed customer expectations. Test sites supported include all development engine and component test cells in Evendale, Peebles, and Winnipeg. TFEE also has engineering

responsibility for production and services engine test cells around the world.

The Electrical Engineer will focus on leading projects that require electrical engineering acumen within the TFEE group.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Experience in Electrical design and PLC programming.

Experience and skill in troubleshooting control systems.

Design, integrate, and support various electrical test enabling systems.

Own and procure hardware (cable, connectors, backshells, positioners, PLCs, VFDs, UPS, and power supplies etc.) for electrical integration.

Develop electrical/controls design, schematics, and drawings.

Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to trade electrical standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of assigned components and systems.

Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

Ability to work well with others across multiple discipline.

Required Qualifications

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college.

1-3 years of Electrical Engineering experience.

Desired Characteristics

Project management experience, managing schedules and budgets.

Electrical infrastructure background.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Ability to document, plan, and execute projects.
