Senior Key Account Manager – Retail Corporate Sales Position Summary The Sr. Key Account Manager initiates and develops the strategic sales activities of the organization to achieve retail sales and volume budget objectives. Essential Functions Maximizes sales and distribution of our products through the development, negotiation and communication of Customer Development Agreements (CDA) and marketing promotions. Communicates with retailers and employees on issues regarding pricing, products, equipment programs and store execution issues as they arise. Executes G&Js AOP strategies and programs for assigned retail customers. Assures that customer related economic initiatives are within budgetary guidelines (e.g. CDAs, NSP, Gross Profit, MEM, marketing programs) and conforms to the appropriate return on investment (ROI). Conducts frequent market tours to ensure execution of programming and provide feedback on marketplace execution across the broader organization. Participates in customer JACT teams as assigned. Initiates, prepares and conducts internal as well as external customer business reviews and planning meetings as necessary. Prepares periodic sales reports, pricing models, analysis and ROIs as needed. Maintains confidentiality of financial information, promotions, pricing, CDA contracts, profit and loss reports, customer information, employee information (e.g., discipline, wage information) and other sensitive and confidential information. Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are met, followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g., OSHA and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local laws). Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. Education Level Associates Degree (two year college or technical school) required, Bachelors Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. Experience 5-7 years of previous beverage management experience with at least 5 years of previous sales experience calling on national/regional chain accounts with proven sales results and previous soft drink industry experience strongly preferred. Computer Skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel; previous experience with SharePoint and Office 365 strongly preferred. Certificates & Licenses Valid Drivers license and must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment. Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed.
