Job Description

Bastian Solutions specializes in manufacturing conveyor belts and other material handling solutions. Their Greenfield, IN location focuses on custom automation for specialized e-commerce customer needs. Bastian has recently landed a year-long contract with Amazon, requiring 55 spiral conveyors along with general gravity conveyors. This high-volume project needs entry-level candidates for easy sub-assembly and intermediate to expert assemblers for custom machine building. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering assembly prints, assembling equipment from fabricated parts, willingness to help throughout the shop, learning new manufacturing areas, producing high-quality assemblies with low rejection rates, and being a team player with a positive attitude.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greenfield, Indiana.

Work Environment

Small to medium-sized facility. The facility is not climate controlled, warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter. Traditional manufacturing environment with assembly lines and parts across the facility. Low to medium noise level. Very team-oriented with a family feel. They host cookouts in the summer and offer other opportunities in the plant for those who show initiative.
