Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities related to staff development, providing proper instruction to radiology students.
Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate learning goals.
Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.
Participate in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.
Evaluate, assess and document competency for clinical rotations in the department.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
One or more of the following required:
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Sonography specialty preferred.
Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
BLS Provider preferrred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associatesdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
credentials in abdomen, vascular AND OBGYN through the ARDMS or ARRT. Teaching experience is preferred.
