Do you have exceptional client service skills, math and calculation skills, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and an analytical background? Are you a detailed, organized, and results-oriented professional? Do you possess secondary education in accounting, finance, or business? This Billing Specialist role is made for the Excel skilled (experience working with vlookups and pivot tables), number crunching, and relationship building professional. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for preparing, tracking, and managing multiple steps of the consulting revenue. You will be analyzing, researching, inquiring, interacting, requesting, documenting, and creating invoices on a daily basis. The training will be onsite for the first 2-3 weeks. After you are in a groove, you can transition to working from home 2 days a week and 3 days onsite.

salary: $22 – $24 per hour

Responsibilities

Work closely with a variety of internal teams and departments with the end goal of providing accurate and timely billing of consulting revenue

Prepare, track, and manage multiple steps of the billing of consulting revenue

Utilize Excel extensively for managing and manipulating large amounts of data

Follow specific billing requirements and guidelines for timely and accurate invoicing

Follow up with consultants to gather needed and missing documentation

Research any discrepancies

Problem solve with internal business partners

May assist Manager with ad-hoc projects

Skills

Billing (2 years of experience is preferred)

Accounting Coursework (2 years of experience is required)

Math and Calculation (2 years of experience is required)
