Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Location: 2109 Quail Avenue, Fort Dodge, IA 50501

Duration: 5 months contract

Schedule: M-F 8AM to 4PM

What’s a typical day as a Heavy Equipment Operator ? You will:

• Provide customers with consistent gypsum rock

• Operate and maintain Excavator, FEL, Crusher/Screener units as directed by mine management

• Perform daily inspection for the machinery

• Help identify needs to other colleagues and management

• Perform basic maintenance or assist mechanics. Strong mechanical aptitude or experience desired.

• Maintain housekeeping in the work environment all the time

• Complete 60 Seconds to Think, Work Permits, SMAT & EMAT audits

• Be willing to be cross- trained to fill in other jobs in case of absence and vacations

• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation and/or mining and rock handling operations required.

Min of 2 years of experience performing basic maintenance on HDE (Preferred)
