[[Job Summary of the Operations Leader[: The Operations Leader will be a key member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a business unit within our manufacturing organization. This Operations Leader will have a strong background in operational leadership, financial management, and strategic planning, with the ability to drive performance improvements.

– Oversee daily operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
– Full responsibility of the Profit and Loss (PandL) statements, driving revenue growth, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability.
– Provide strategic direction, ensuring the companys overall goals are met.
– Develop and execute business plans that drive growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.
– Ensure that the needs of customers are met, ensuring a focus on quality and timely delivery.
– Lead continuous improvement efforts using LEAN or other Continuous Improvement to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
– Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency using lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
– Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth.
– Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies are enforced.
– Lead and mentor a diverse team. Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities to team members.
– Collaborate with other departments, including finance, supply chain, engineering, and sales, to ensure smooth operations and alignment with broader company objectives.

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong track record of progressive leadership in operations and achieving business objectives.
Custom manufacturing experience a plus.
Prior experience scaling up a business is a plus.
