Brake/Laser Operator

Position Title: Brake/Laser Operator

Wage: $20.00-$24.00/Hour DOE

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday-Friday Optional OT

QPS Employment Group has partnered with a local company to hire a Brake/Laser Operator. This person will be responsible for operating a machine to cut and form metal based on CAD drawings. You will ensure all work meets specified designs and quality standards. This position has the opportunity to be direct hire for a highly qualified candidate!

Brake/Laser Operator Responsibilities:
– Operate CNC laser cutting and metal forming equipment
– Interpret blueprints to produce accurate components
– Maintain attention to detail and follow instructions
– Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
– Use overhead hoist to lift materials up to 70 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the day

Requirements For Brake/Laser Operator:
– Preferred experience in CNC laser cutting and metal forming
– Proficient in blueprint reading and technical drawings
– Strong math skills
– Must have a steady work history in previous roles
– Detail-oriented and able to work well in a team
