Device Repair and Key Fob Training Specialist / Call Center Technician

15.00-18.00 per hour | 1190 Richards Road, Hartland, WI 53029, USA | Hourly | Ascent Repair Operations – 9380 | Full Time

The Device Repair Call Center Technician provides device repair support to all Batteries Plus Corporate and Franchise stores utilizing database systems, web research, and collaborative problem solving methods. The Device Repair Call Center Technician will work cross-functionally with Repair Technicians and Inventory Specialists to ensure timely completion of repair and for technical inquiries.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service

Manage vast amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner

Interface with internal departments on problematic situations, day to day inquiries andcommunication improvements

Identify and troubleshoot device repairs concerns, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives

Maintain call log, problem resolution of proficiency standards, and customer satisfaction levels

Escalate problem situations to Tier II Technicians when necessary

Repair Support

Understand device repair terminology, job knowledge and product information

Review detailed notes, ask questions, identify services needed, and review store information to required repairs

Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

High School education or equivalent with relevant experience

6 months to 1 years of previous customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in electronic or device repair

Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance

Demonstrated problem solving skills. Duties require the ability of the use of judgment in minor decisions and use of some judgment as to the method of performance.

Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work with relative independence on regular, routine duties, referring questionable situations to supervisor or others

Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments; effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines
