Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
The Production Technician is responsible for working on a new line that was recently added. You will gown up in PPE and follow SOPs under GMP regulations to ensure raw materials are processed correctly. Responsibilities include working with freeze dryers, sanitizing them by washing, scrubbing, drying, filling trays to put them into dryers, feeding bottles into the machine, mixing chemicals and raw materials in a tank, measuring and weighing materials, performing formulation chemistry, and mixing chemicals together. Shift leads will handle document writing, deviations, and troubleshooting machines.
Qualifications
Must have: High school diploma or GED
Ideal experience:
Experience in an regulated environment (GMP)
Experience gowning up in proper PPE
Easy chemistry (mix molecular components together). More routine work.
1-2 years production experience (clean room environment), understand SOPs, understand signing off on GMP, understand importance of QC
Math-Be able to calculate decimals, addition, subtraction and etc
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Lodi, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Hours/Shift:
2 openings – 1st shift M-F 7am-3:30pm
1 opening – 2nd shift M-F 2pm-10:30pm
Team Size:
7 people on first shift including supervisors/leads
3 on 2nd shift
Environment:
The facility is temperature coded. The office environment is 70 degrees, the hallways range from 65-75 degrees, the freezers can get as low as -37 degrees, and the warehouse ranges from 50-60 degrees. The facility is well lit with no overbearing smell. While on contract, you will rarely need to gown up and down unless entering full PPE sections. The lab and production facility require hair and beard nets only
