Job Title: QC Analytical Chemist
Job Description
Join our Analytical Development Team within the Quality Control Department. The primary purpose of the QC Analytical Chemist 2 is to support the Production and Formulations Departments by analyzing pharmaceutical and cleaning samples using various procedures including internal procedures, specifications, analytical methods, compendial monographs, client procedures, research procedures, and miscellaneous protocols. The QC Analytical Chemist 2 is expected to understand internal procedures and reliably conduct analyses with minimal supervision. Additionally, you will ensure the completion of essential job functions as part of your daily and weekly schedule.
1st Shift: 7:30am – 3:30pm Mon – Fri
Qualifications
B.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry
Needs experience in analytical chemistry courses – experience with HPLC or other analytical instrumentation
Need to be okay not always having a direction- can think outside the box
Positive attitude- handle adversity if a test fails in method development
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).
With good performance and attendance candidaites are hired on after contract period
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Verona, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Laboratory setting in a Quality Control lab. The lab consists of 4 teams on the chemistry side, each with around 6 chemists per supervisor (Raw Materials, Finished Products, Analytical Development) along with Environmental Monitoring and QC Specialists. This lab has expanded over the last 2 years and has a modern look. All chemists work in shared spaces with lab tops; scientist-level individuals have their own desks.
