Job Title: Agricultural Mechanic

Job Description

The Agricultural Mechanic will operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of agriculture equipment. Responsibilities include supervising assigned seasonal employees during harvest operations, as well as overhauling and rebuilding equipment during the non-processing season. Specific duties include:

– Repair and maintenance of peas and corn harvest equipment and related machinery.
– Maintaining cost control over equipment for budget purposes.
– Providing maintenance support in other facility areas as needed.
– Ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality product that meets or exceeds company standards during harvest season.
– Overseeing employee relations.
– Enforcing GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations.
– Collaborating with Area Supervisors to maintain production and quality.

Mechanic shop environment with in-and-out plant activities for troubleshooting, installation, and removal tasks.
