Location/Schedule:

St. Mary Elementary School

6:30am-3:00pm

Responsibilities:

– Promote the mission of Bishop OGorman Catholic Schools
– Keep buildings and grounds in a clean and sanitary condition. Clean up daily pickup of trash and debris.
– Clean and/or mop floors daily, disinfect bathrooms and drinking fountains
– Clean and disinfect classrooms
– Set up and take down equipment/chairs, etc. for all events at/related to the school
– Clean snow from sidewalks, as needed
– When applicable, open and lock the school buildings
– Promote a positive public image to students, staff and community through cooperation and attitude
– Shampoo Carpets (usually in the summer)
– Painting (as needed in summer)
– Annual floor care (e.g. stripping/waxing)

– Attention to detail, dependable, and trustworthy
– Knowledge and skills in cleaning supplies and equipment, inventory control and time management

– Ability to climb ladders, lift at least 50-80 lbs., and operate heavy machinery
