The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position ofCommercial Plan Reviewerin the Inspections Department with an application deadline of Thursday, October 31st 2024. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants.
# NatureofWork
This position is to perform a variety of advanced plans examining work; to enforce compliance with building codes, regulations and ordinances; coordinate with public and private entities and to perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. This work is performed under the supervision of Building Official.Please see the attached job description for complete details.
# Education,Experience,OtherRequirements
– Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in architecture, engineering or a related field
– Three years of increasingly responsible building construction and/or plan review experience; any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and ability. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would experience
– Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid International Code Council Commercial Plan Reviewer B-3 certificate within the first year of employment and a B-2 certification within the second year of employment.
# CompensationandBenets
– The assigned salary range for the position ofCommercial Plan Reviewerunder the 2024 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 58, which is $25.54 per hour- $37.91 per hour or $53,113- $78,847 annually.
– Thisisafulltime,FLSANon-Exemptposition eligibleforovertime.
