Chief Operator: Responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of the compressor stations. As a working compressor operator, coordinate the daily operations of natural gas compressor stations. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime and after hour calls.

Compressor Operator: This position is responsible for multiple stations. Operate the compressor stations in a safe and efficient manner. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime and after hour calls.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Compressor Operator: Journeyman Wage – $40.95

  • Experience in natural gas compression and dehydration processes and knowledge of natural gas pipeline related maintenance and construction activities.
  • Processes and operations including related DOT and OSHA regulations.
  • Associate degree in an industrial or mechanical related field or equivalent work experience acceptable to the Company.
  • Ability to analyze problems and take corrective action.
  • Possess good mechanical and electrical aptitude and have proven human relations and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle drivers license and meet applicable DOT mandated commercial driver requirements (i.e. medical card, log book).
  • Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Chief Compressor Operator Journeyman Wage – $44.20

In addition to the minimum qualifications of the Compressor Operator position, Chief Operator minimums include:

  • Chief position open to internal applicants only
  • Completion of the company Compressor Operator course.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Must successfully complete the Compressor Operator Training Program.
  • This position requires you to maintain multiple compressor stations.
  • This position requires that you be able to respond to call outs within one hour.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Compressor Operator:

  • AAS in Power Plant Technology

Chief Operator:

  • Four years of power plant operational experience with advanced technical skills in mechanical, electrical and/or instrumentation of Maintenace.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate and maintain reciprocating or turbine compressor engines and other station systems.
  • Perform operation, maintenance and housekeeping on compressors, engines, dehydration systems and plant support systems.
  • Provide support for pipeline and measurement facilities.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

In addition to the above job responsibilities, the Chief Operator is responsible for:

  • Giving direction to station operators and assists in their training.
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of compressor units and other station systems.
  • Coordinate the activities and set schedules for the other station operators.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
