Credit Manager

Envirocon, Inc.

The Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process, while leading and managing the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient and effective payment collection. This role involves evaluating customers creditworthiness, managing credit limits, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records of receivables. The Credit Manager will work closely with internal departments and external customers to minimize credit risk to help contribute to the companys financial stability.

The annual salary range for this position is: $85,000 to $105,000. This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.

Proven experience (5 years) in credit management, accounts receivable, or a similar role required .

Minimum 3-year supervisory/management experience required .

Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.

Strong knowledge of credit evaluation methods, financial analysis, and risk management.

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Billtrust) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate Modern Machinerys core values and promote the mission and vision of the company.

Follow all company policies and procedures for safe work procedures and contribute to the achievement of company safety goals.

Manage and lead the accounts receivable team, ensuring proper training, motivation, and performance management.

Collaborate with the sales, finance, parts and service teams to resolve disputes and maintain strong customer relationships.

Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, payment posting, and collections.

Assess and approve or decline credit applications for new and existing customers based on financial statements, credit history, and risk factors.

Set and review customer credit limits regularly.

Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers to resolve overdue payments.

Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce overdue balances.

Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collection performance.

Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide information for financial forecasting of cash collections.

Ensure that credit policies and procedures are communicated clearly to internal teams and customers.
