Administrative Assistant Needed

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager / Administrative Assistant to join our Clients team. The ideal candidate will manage daily office operations, provide administrative support to leadership, and ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. This is a temp to hire role; $25 hourly rate; Mon through Friday; 8am-5pm; Elk Grove Village, IL location. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and workspace organization.

Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and building management for office needs.

Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient office environment.

Assist in planning and coordinating company events, meetings, and activities.

Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to senior management, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.

Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.

Handle confidential information with discretion.

Assist in managing internal and external communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.

HR and Finance Support:

Assist with basic HR tasks such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and managing time-off requests.

Handle expense reports, process invoices, and assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed.

Track office budgets and expenses.

Reception and Customer Service:

Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, answering phones, greeting clients, and responding to inquiries.

Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office management software.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Discretion and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with HR and finance processes.

Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
