The Rental Growth POD Lead role supports and leads development of dealer specific RGP (Rental Growth Plans) to support future rental growth in rental services. The role involves working with and leading dealer and Caterpillar teams through deep data analysis, defining opportunity concentrations, identifying potential solutions, and ultimately building a granular execution plan which will lead to robust governance and growth over the next 1-3 years. This position will be focused primarily in the North American Region. The role will be segmenting the business analysis to uncover unique customer attributes and business drivers which can be leveraged to create solutions for key opportunity segments.
What you will Do:
Leading cross functional teams to common objectives
Draw conclusions and provide strategic and tactical recommendations from data, VOC, and VOB drivers
Developing 3-5 year strategic and tactical execution plans with a focus on business growth
Developing detailed action plans which can be built into a governable project
Identifying potential roadblocks across the organization and working across teams to enable progress
What you Have:

Negotiating: Knowledge of negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors and peers
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives
Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices of selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service “value” and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs
Top Candidates will also have:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Engineering related field
10 years of industry experience
Previous experience and strong knowledge working with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and distribution relationships
Able to be self-motivated and work independently in deep, project-based work
A strong knowledge of Caterpillar, products, markets & strategy
Solid business acumen, strong interpersonal skills, effective in a matrix organization
Additional Details:
Location: This role is North American based and we may consider candidates that reside within a 50 mile radius of any Caterpillar facility.
Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify
<25% travel is expected
