We are seeking MIG welder to join our welding team in Arcola, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing or a shop setting. An Agricultural background also is a nice to have! Great time management skills, and ability to move at a fast pace.

Job Description:

· Will be welding large parts/frame of the railroad equipment for repair, removal, or re-finishing. MIG Weld – 3/8” structural weld, carbon steel material, Horizontal and Vertical up/down. GMAW and Carbon Arc welding. Some torch cutting and plasma cutting/grinding.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Haves:

MIG Weld – 3/8” structural weld

Dual shield/fluxcore

Carbon steel material

Horizontal and Vertical up/down welds

GMAW

Carbon Arc welding

Torch cutting

Plasma cutting/grinding

Ability to read blueprints (training available)

Nice to Haves:

Mechanical aptitude.

Farming background.

1 year manufacturing.

Work Environment:

Non temperature-controlled shop setting

Team environment. very friendly. 6am-4:30 M-R and 6am-2:30 F
