Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician

This role ensures smooth production by maintaining machinery, facilities, and safety standards. Reporting to the Technical Manager, responsibilities include:

Adhering to safety standards and maintaining workplace cleanliness.

Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery.

Assisting in machine setup and troubleshooting technical issues.

Managing spare parts inventory and documenting maintenance.

Facilitating communication among team members and departments.

Skills required include knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems, as well as experience with plastic molding technologies and forklift operation. A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing is necessary.

Technical Skills:

Proficient knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical and/or electronic systems

Familiarity with plastic molding technologies (EBM and/or SBM and/or IM)

Applied understanding of WCM standards

Basic familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices

Competence in operating manual and electric forklifts

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance department of a manufacturing company.

The essential functions of this role include:

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
