Summary

The Supervisor, Master Data is responsible for leading the Master Data department and for maintaining the data integrity of the E1/JD Edwards systems.

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Manage and supervise the Master Data department for Compass Minerals International Inc.

Responsible for ensuring data integrity within E1/JD Edwards by regularly evaluating and auditing the data collection processes.

Manage data within E1/JD Edwards along with “bolt-on” system’s that integrate into E1 that Compass Minerals utilizes.

Provide leadership in data management activities.

Manage and ensure that data is accurate by conducting audits and identifying trends that may indicate problems with data quality.

Design and implement data management policies and procedures for compliance with best in class processes

Assist with reporting and data extraction when requested.

Review data sources to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience Required:

3 years of experience in administrative management.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Education and/or Experience Preferred:

Experience with data management systems preferred.

Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to lead process improvements preferred.

Associate and/or Bechelor’s degree preferred.
