Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate -$29/hr. (1st shift)
Job Description
This individual will need a basic understanding of some, or all of the various systems found around the building. This would include HVAC’s, MAU’s, Production Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, and Power Distribution Equipment.
Responsible for assisting with building construction and remodeling projects.
Responsible for assisting and serving as backup to the maintenance mechanic in installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure proper operation of machinery and equipment by following detailed manufacturer recommendations and gained working knowledge.
The role ensures the operation of machinery, equipment, and facility by completing maintenance requirements following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturers instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
This individual inspects and tests machinery and equipment for proper operation, dismantles defective components, and installs new or repairs parts.
Understanding and working knowledge of voltages from 120V to 480V 3 phase and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are required.
The role also assists with the design and installation of major equipment or building structures, conducts various building construction, remodeling, maintenance projects, and fabricates projects out of wood or metal using welders, cutting saws, and grinders.
The job must be performed according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.

Shift: day shift from 7am-3:30pm M-F. This is an ink manufacturing facility, so it can be dirty in there
