Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a C#/.NET engineer to help migrate legacy applications. We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience modernizing legacy applications, moving from VB.NET to .NET 6 or newer. This is a remote position, allowing you to join a team focusing on updating 40-50 applications that are currently written in legacy frameworks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with a similar initiative, and be able to hit the ground running. This is 3-6 month contract, with potential extensions.

At least 6 years of experience as a .NET/C# engineer
Experience modernizing applications
Hands on experience with the below technologies:
o .NET Framework
o C#
o VB .NET
o Windows Forms
o WCF Services
o ASP .NET
o PL/SQL Stored procedures
o Oracle Databases
o Azure Devops (Release Pipelines) – CI/CD
o Github Actions
o AWS Services / Cloud Development Cisco ASP .NET Core
