Responsibilities: Level I

• Ensure that all relevant internal and external documentation utilized for inspection purposes is current. • Accurately record inspection activities, as required, utilizing the Company’s ERP system. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly prints. • Perform inspection by utilizing handheld gages including calipers, micrometers, and scales. • Perform final check to ensure all assemblies and detail parts are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and non-conformance issues. • Accurately populate quality assurance documentation using industry terms and definitions. • Assist in Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Material Rejection Report (MRR) processes using Syteline to ensure timely resolution.• Perform PCD Audits, document results and communicate findings• Participate in 3rd Party audits as necessary. • Handle customer supplied products with care. • Maintain and reinforce ORIZON’s quality standards to meet customer expectations • Manage time appropriately and respond quickly to all inquiries so that production, quality, and delivery schedules are met. • Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process to ensure true cause has been established and corrected to prevent any reoccurrences. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in implementation of process improvements. • Assist Material Review Board (MRB) by clearly identifying and placing nonconforming products in the MRB cage.• Maintain an “Ultra C-Lean” working environment by following proper work procedures, ensuring a clean work area, and confirming, at the beginning and end of each shift, that the work area has an accurate inventory of tools.

Qualifications

Experience

Required

1 year: Experience using measurement tools (e.g., caliper, micrometer, height gage, etc.)

1 year: Able to analyze, troubleshoot & correct quality issues within the scope of Level I Inspector responsibilities

3 years: Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, ERP)

Preferred

1 year: Return Material Authorization (RMA) and control of nonconforming product experience.

1 year: Understand AS9100 or other Quality Management Systems preferred

1 year: Understanding in blueprint reading and GD&T preferred.

1 year: Auditing experience preferred.

1 year: Inspection experience with regards to receiving inspection, detailed parts, or assembled parts preferred.
