Project: Vance Air Force Base

Location: Enid, OK

Wage Range: $24 to $30 per hour

W.W.CLYDE is seeking an experienced quality control inspector to help build our project in Enid, OK.

Responsibilities:

– Inspect plans, materials and finished work products

– Responsible for observing and making good business decisions

– Keep accurate notes and records

– Ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and used appropriately

– Perform process checks

– Ensure workplace is safe, organized and productive

– Have past heavy civil/horizontal construction experience

– Be physically present at the jobsite when any work related to the area assigned is being performed

– Review the contract specifications, drawings and any referenced publications contained in contract documents so as to be fully knowledgeable of the scopes of responsibility

– Review any related submittals for conformance with the contract documents

– Observe the work daily for compliance with the contract documents and prepare the appropriate CQC Forms

– Supervise and coordinate all inspections and testing contained in the contract documents related to your areas of responsibility

– Assure that the reported tests are in compliance with the contract documents

– Verify daily the compliance of materials and equipment delivered to and/or incorporated into the work

Qualifications:

– ACI & ODOT certifications are preferred, not required.

– Must be detailed oriented, organized and self sufficient

– Must be at least 18 years of age

– Ability to lift/push/pull at least 20 pounds
