Job Description:
This job is responsible for overseeing programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact to executive management for critical change initiatives and defining scope and business impact of programs while communicating, influencing, and negotiating vertically and horizontally. Job expectations include delivering board level updates and materials on results aligned to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities.
Enterprise Data Strategy, Governance and Operations (EDSGO) – Strategy and Transformation is responsible for the bank’s data strategy and consistent execution of data-related programs in the FLU/CFs. This includes the Artificial Intelligence Policies, delivering on short term priorities to ensure data is accurate, medium-term priorities to simplify data and processes, implement the international data governance program in material legal entities, and drive the enterprise data strategy.
Band 3, Enterprise Data Transformation Portfolio Executive, DR to Jennifer Flynn
Perform horizontal governance and oversight of strategic data initiatives in partnership with Data Management Technology
Perform oversight of material change programs supporting Data and NFRR
Monitor and provide oversight of strategic initiative spend
Plan capacity across EDSGO (Data) and LOB/Tech partners
Provide execution support for prioritized EDSGO (Data) initiatives
Centralize quarterly Initiative Planning
Partners with data transformation governance executive to align to all governance and change management efforts/routines within the control tower
Responsibilities:
Oversees the execution of defined project tasks through tracking of deliverables and their statuses, developing project plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
Influences timelines, helps to prioritize work amongst team to meet deadlines, and uses business judgment to tailor approaches and drive optimal business outcomes while managing external and reputational risk
Orchestrates and drives the successful and timely completion of programs to achieve business goals, including the identification and resolution of risks and issues which impact program delivery
Engages and drives relationships with business partners through strategic leadership, execution of key priorities, thoughtful challenge, and insightful analysis
Reviews investment strategies, applies an deep understanding of business cases, and the proposed work to articulate outcomes and benefits of the investments
Facilitates, coordinates, and arbitrates cross-functional macro level topics with key stakeholders, including senior management
Leads the adoption and sustainment of change and program initiatives and assesses adoption risks
