Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a facility that manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers. We are looking for motivated individuals capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. The workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
Hard Skills
Diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing plant mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
Reading and understanding mechanical prints, AC/DC motors, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical components, AC/DC motors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, bearings, and power transmission
Using various types of measurement equipment (dial calipers, heat sensing guns, etc.)
Fabricating equipment (welding both arc and gas)
Operating metal, woodworking, and hand tools to make and repair parts
Operating all types of hand tools (e.g., drill press, grinder, wire brush, acetylene torch)
