You will be the Program Management-Subcontract Manager in support of the M270 and HIMARS Programs.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Program Management-Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for subcontract program management and administration duties. Your responsibilities will include:

•Supporting new business proposals, post-award contracts execution, and contract closeout.

•Overseeing a team of subcontract administrators and managing subcontract tasks such as:

•Preparing bid packages

•Organizing bidders conferences

•Defining evaluation criteria

•Assessing proposals

•Negotiating subcontract provisions

•Finalizing subcontractor selection

•Administering subcontracts

•Overseeing the negotiation and coordination of subcontract modifications, additions, and deletions.

•Collaborating with Contracts Administration and Purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures and signing supplier agreements and purchase orders within authorized limits.

•Performing Cost Account Management tasks as needed.

This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX Discover Grand Prairie

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

– Major subcontract management experience in a defense environment

– Working knowledge of FAR/DFARs

– Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize

– Excellent written and spoken communication skills

– Ability to work independently

– Experience developing teammates

– Must have the ability to obtain secret security clearance

– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Desired Skills:

– Familiar with using SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P)

– Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition procedures

– Experience with negotiating and administering Fixed Price and Cost type subcontracts

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
