Summary
Freeman is seeking a dynamic Industry Marketing Manager to lead the creation of compelling case studies, award-winning submissions, and impactful product content, while also spearheading other key programs that drive our business forward. You’ll quickly immerse yourself in our diverse business landscape, gaining a deep understanding of our unique customer segments and comprehensive solutions—including conferences, tradeshows, AV production, exhibits and environments, strategic services, and our family of innovative brands.
As a member of our fast-paced and collaborative marketing team, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you’ll play a critical role in bringing our capabilities to life. Your attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and knack for transforming ideas into impactful stories will be essential. You’ll manage projects from concept to execution, working in a deadline-driven environment that thrives on creativity and collaboration. If you’re a proactive communicator and a motivated self-starter who loves to collaborate across teams, we want you on our team to help execute our strategic marketing plans.
This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead event captures: Oversee the video and photography capture of customer events, working closely with sales and clients to ensure captures are aligned to goals and budget. Coordinate event captures and align with socials, content, design, and marcom teams.
Develop compelling case studies: Create case studies that highlight Freeman’s solutions, combining engaging storytelling with impactful visuals.
Project manage content: Drive content creation kick-offs by aligning messaging, understanding client needs, scheduling calls with subject matter experts, and ensuring on-time delivery in line with marketing plans.
Manage awards submissions: Identify new award opportunities by segment. Write and coordinate award submissions, ensuring customer approvals across the business.
Maintain and share content: Ensure case studies and other content are regularly updated and shared across the business via platforms like the case study library, content spreadsheets, and intranet.
Support product launches: Assist in the rollout of new product updates and launches. Collaborate with internal and external communications teams to develop effective messaging strategies.
Create and maintain marketing materials: Develop marketing materials such as customer pitch decks, collateral, and presentations, ensuring they are up to date and aligned with business needs.
Monitor industry trends: Stay informed on emerging research, trends, and competitive insights relevant to key buyers.
Provide competitive insights: Collect and analyze competitive insights and feedback, sharing this data with the global marketing team to inform strategies.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree required with 5 years marketing experience.
Industry knowledge of conferences and tradeshows, corporate events, and exhibits or strong core skill know-how to ramp up quickly on the industry.
2 years of experience with industry marketing, as well as experience with sales material and content creation ideal.
Experience in message development for key solutions to address customer needs challenges.
Hands-on capability to create a range of marketing assets, including demos, pitch-decks, event/webinar content, collateral, etc.
You are a self-starter with a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
Strong skills in communication, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally.
Outstanding organizational skills to define and run multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with sales, product management, enablement, and other stakeholders.
