Job Description:
The VSG Division is seeking a Finance Manager for the C3 Business Area. This individual will manage a team of four and be responsible for all program finance activities of the portfolio. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, establish clear financial cadence, lead a team, and create strong partnerships with program managers and key functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
One Year leadership experience.
2 Years Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
2-5 years Aerospace and Defense Industry experience
Experience in USG labor service type contracts / programs (i.e. FFP, CPFF, CR, T&M, etc.) strongly preferred.
Must have demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, including pivot tables, and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of SAP & Cobra is strongly preferred.
Ability to maintain Active Secret Clearance required
Preferred Skills (beyond required):
Advanced Excel Skills
2 years of Deltek Cobra experience.
Strong analytical skills including the ability to proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner
Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels/functions within the organization
Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening)
A proven track record of process improvement and experience with financial systems and process change initiatives
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to attract, retain and develop exceptional talent
Working knowledge of SAP is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Cobra is strongly preferred.
