Lake Granbury Youth Services in Granbury, Texas, is seeking highly motivated licensed therapists to work with children who are experiencing behavioral health concerns. You will join a team of treatment professionals who are growth and development minded and have a passion for service excellence.

Treatment modalities will include play therapy, trauma focused therapy, aggression replacement training, thinking for a change and cognitive behavioral interventions for substance abuse. Many of the youth we serve are at-risk youth or youth with significant childhood trauma.

This position must be Masters Level at a minimum and can be working toward licensure. Clinical supervision will be provided by a licensed professional or eligible for monthly reimbursement after 90-days employment (depending on licensure).

Preferred therapists will have a license, experience with working with at-risk children and a proven track record of providing excellent care and services.

What you’ll do:

Our Therapists are responsible for overall delivery and implementation of each individual Client Treatment Plan, attending Child and Family Team meetings and treatment team meetings, and completing assessments, Client Treatment Plans and reports as required by the county and state.

To be considered, you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.

Be master’s level mental health professionals and maintain current BBS or Board of Psychology waiver, registration or licensure, or Intern.

Have one year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children/NMD, their families and/or the Juvenile Justice/Child Welfare System.

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
