QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

– Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
– Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in subject assigned.
– Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language (preferred?and will be required for contract renewal)
– CTE Teachers:? Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
– Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Teachers: Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood.
– Physical Education Teachers: Current automated external defibrillator (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
– Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood.
– Valid Texas Teacher Certificate in English as a Second Language (preferredand will be required for contract renewal)

Experience:

– Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience

– Ability to educate with age-appropriate language and teaching methods
