Part-Time Firefighter

COMPENSATION:

– Firefighter/EMT: $23.030/hour
– Firefighter/Paramedic: $25.839/hour

Successful candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

– High school diploma/GED
– Minimum of 18 years of age
– Valid Class B Exempt drivers license, or the ability to obtain within two (2) months of start date
– Ability to maintain a safe driving record throughout employment as defined by City policy
– Basic Structural Firefighter certification from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP)
– Previous firefighting experience preferred
– EMS certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS):EMTorParamedic
– Must be able to complete a Personal History Statement, and pass pre-employment screening and background investigation
