Job Summary
This role is responsible for designing and developing effective learning solutions to support employee growth and organizational development. They work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to assess training needs, develop instructional materials, and create engaging learning experiences that align with business goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
This role will partner with HR and other People functions to ensure that the right talent tools, practices and resources are in place to operationalize formal learning concepts into the flow of learners work. Key responsibilities include:
Curriculum Development: Designing comprehensive training programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, and blended learning solutions.
Learning Management: Utilizing learning management systems (LMS) to organize and deliver training content, monitor progress, and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Talent Development: Creating programs that enhance employees skills, knowledge, and competencies, supporting leadership development, onboarding, and other talent initiatives.
Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure learning solutions meet organizational goals and enhance overall performance.
Evaluation and Analysis: Assessing the impact of learning solutions through feedback, data analysis, and metrics, and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
The role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, knowledge of adult learning theories, and familiarity with technology-driven learning tools to create impactful talent and learning solutions for the organization.
This role may also be required to lead Contract Labor resources (upon availability) and facilitate / lead certifications in which performance feedback and coaching is provided to an indirect report.
Experience and Education
Required:
– 5 years instructional design, talent development experience.
– Demonstrated ability in Learning needs analysis, Setting objectives, Content organization, Instructional and Talent strategies, Assessment design, Evaluation, Delivery mode selection, Project Management
– H.S. Diploma
– Experience with the following software or equivalent:
– Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Synthesia or Vyond, Microsoft Suite (PPT, Excel, Project, Outlook, Teams, etc)
Preferred:
– Bachelors degree or equivalent 7 years work experience
– Demonstrated ability in leading teams (direct or indirect), Learning Management System functionality / features
– Experience with the following software or equivalent:
– Adobe Firefly, Mentimeter, Assima, Captivate, Camtasia, Workday LMS
