Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Engineer with a strong background in coding and development. As a Salesforce Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform. Youll collaborate with the development team, business stakeholders, and other Salesforce professionals to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions while adhering to best coding practices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
– Develop and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
– Customize Salesforce to align with business needs, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
– Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables, ensuring successful project execution.
– Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
– Provide technical support and resolve any technical issues related to Salesforce applications.
– Work closely with product management, project management, and business teams to deliver scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions.
– Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
– Document technical designs, configurations, and processes.
Experience and Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or arelated field.
3 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration.
Proven experience with Salesforce customization (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning) and declarative configuration.
Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party applications.
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II or and Salesforce Certified Administrator are preferred.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
Required Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
Experience with Salesforce data management tools and processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, reliable solutions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
