What is the job about?
Grundfos is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to represent the IND Region of the Americas with a focus on quality. The Quality Manager will ensure the effective management of operational, tactical, and strategic tasks and initiatives pertaining to IND Quality. In addition, the Manager will lead and exemplify the cross-functional teamwork through the Plan-Do-Check- Act (PDCA) cycle to meet Total Quality requirements while ensuring the delivery of qualified products to the market. This position reports to the Quality Director and will be operate out of the Brookshire, TX facility on a hybrid schedule.
Your main responsibilities :
Actively participate in and lead key customer meetings while support the Sales team in advancing the Quality agenda.
Conduct key customer visits and provide support during customer audits while driving continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.
Internalize and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to instigate improvements.
Monitor Customer Quality Performance in the IND Americas region while ensuring progress on top initiatives by analyzing trends, Pareto charts, and taking necessary actions.
Coordinate and communicate progress with relevant stakeholders from plants and facilitate risk evaluations as needed to ensure the satisfaction and safety of our customers.
Act as a representative for customers in addressing major quality issues while tracking the performance of the top 10 customers.
Drive the annual target-setting process for local plants and assemblies while driving quality development/improvement in the Grundfos Production System with plant and local assemblies.
Ensure swift and professional handling of escalation cases in plants, local assemblies, DC’s, and sales regions.
Monitor and take action based on market feedback, encompassing Data Governance, FAS codes governance, System Maintenance, Reporting, Training, Monitoring of Warranty Rate, Warranty Actions, and processes for continuous improvements.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
A bachelor’s degree with a preference for an engineering degree.
5 years of professional experience in Quality Management.
Process Management knowledge (ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO15504).
Audit and data analysis skills.
Previous project management experience is desirable.
The ability to travel frequently (40%) to visit the customers, plants, assemblies and DC’s in the region.
Effective communication skills.
The ability to operate on a hybrid schedule out of our Brookshire, TX facility.
