POSITION RESPONSIBILITY
[PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
[To provide for timely delivery of guest room linen and supplies to the linen closets and to maintain the supplies on the GRA carts. Collects dirty linen and transports to pick up area. Maintains cleanliness of public areas. Performs tasks designated, but not limited to meeting rooms, cleaning/set up of guest utilities and recreational area.

Adheres to scheduled work hours, is punctual in reporting and gives ample notice to the supervisor if he/she cannot meet schedule.
Follows any change in schedule as directed by Management.
Responsible for the set-up and breakdown of Classrooms, Lounge(s) and Banquet rooms as assigned.
Responsible for reading and understanding Daily Work Assignment Sheets and Banquet Event Orders for set-up needs.
Sets all meeting space with proper equipment and tools according to TC standards and Banquet Event Orders which includes but not limited to tables, chairs, flip charts, easels, notepads, pencils, pencil sharpeners, clocks, markers, etc.
Cleans offices, meeting rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, storage rooms, gift shop, gymnasium, sauna, showers, and other work/public areas so that health standards are met.
Cleans outdoor areas including windows, walkways, balconies, lights, patio furniture and chairs, pool/spa area, trash removal in landscaped areas and parking lots, and empties ashtrays.
Uses equipment designated for exterior cleaning (i.e. Pressure Washer, Gas Blower, etc.) with adherence to proper techniques and safety.
Empties wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment, ceiling vents, and wall decorations using proper tools and equipment for the assigned task(s).
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
Cleans walls and ceilings using proper techniques and chemicals for the assigned task(s).
Vacuums all carpeted areas and uses brooms to sweep/clean outdoor areas.
Operates/drives ride-on vacuums as directed by Management (with proper training).
Operates hand trucks and flatbed carts to move equipment to assigned work areas.
Uses proper techniques and equipment when moving heavy items to clean areas.
Properly uses and disposes of chemicals when conducting area cleaning.
Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, or polishes floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
Replenishes supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
Dusts window blinds/coverings as needed.
Polishes silver accessories and metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
Moves and arranges furniture, and turns mattresses as directed.
Disinfects equipment and supplies, using germicides or appropriate cleaning techniques.
Observes precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to Housekeeping Management.
Sorts, counts, and marks clean linens and store them in linen closets.
