Experience working in a global health context.

Previous experience in administrative support, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in documentation and scheduling.
Ability to handle unexpected situations and provide solutions efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and contribute to a positive work environment.

Job Summary:
The Program Manager is accountable for the personnel, operational and financial management of the assigned program(s) to ensure the delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient clinical care, promotion of research, and clinical education.
Job Duties:
The Program Manager for the Global Health Coordinating Center (GHCC) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) will assist the Director in overseeing various operations of the GHCC. This role involves process mapping, optimizing performance, measuring workflow performance, and maintaining educational agreements. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across clinical, research, and academic departments. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the administration of educational agreements and facilitate effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders.
Key Duties:
Operational Oversight :
Assist the Director in managing day-to-day operations of the GHCC.
Develop and implement process maps to streamline GHCC activities.
Optimize performance by identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies.
Measure and analyze workflow performance to ensure continuous improvement.
Educational Agreements :
Maintain and manage educational agreements with partner institutions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between UTMB and partner institutions.
Program Management :
Coordinate and oversee GHCC programs and initiatives.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor program progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement :
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Represent GHCC at meetings, conferences, and other events.
Communicate program goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Data Management and Reporting :
Collect, analyze, and report data related to GHCC operations and programs.
Prepare reports and presentations for the Director and other stakeholders.
Use data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with occasional travel to partner institutions and conferences.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet program deadlines
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
