Marketing Sales Representative Schertz, TX

Markets staffing services to end users, business, and industrial establishments or individuals at branch office, store, or customers work site or place of business by performing the following duties. Works closely with Branch Manager throughout sales process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Develops lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers at business locations, central or corporate staff, and/or makes calls by phone.

Works with Branch Manager to make sales presentations that emphasize staffing services, using developed materials of Staff Force, as well as presentation materials favorable to Staff Force and services offered.

Reviews customer requirements related to safety, professional, and technical skills specific to position requirements.

Works with Branch Manager to develop orders by quoting prices, estimating availability of services, and taking orders based on knowledge of ability to deliver staffing services.

Reports new business development, sales, transactions, and keeps expense accounts. May enter new customer information into data base or provide information manually as requested/required.

Read and interpret safety rules as well as operating and procedural manuals, to assure customers specifications are met.

Attend trade shows, job fairs, civic association meetings, social functions, etc. in the development and maintenance of relations conducive to good business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Requires a sales and customer service aptitude favorable to sales of personnel staffing services. Prefer a minimum of 2 years directly related experience within a service setting. College level courses in business or marketing are preferred, although not specifically required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to respond to inquiries and represent Staff Force to customers. Should be able to make effective presentations in person or by phone with potential customers and their representatives.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Position requires ability to understand, figure, and calculate amounts such as discounts, commissions, ratios, and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY:

Must have ability to understand and apply best methods and procedures to reach call goals and performance standards. Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Drivers license and auto liability insurance required, as position requires routine and regular use of personal or company vehicle.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Demands are those common to daily travel outside the office to various customers and potential customers. Additionally, clarity in speech and communication skills are common and routine to the position and require high levels of listening and speaking skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Although travel is routine to the position and traffic noise is common to the job, much of the work is in a general office setting with some exposure to moderate noise (computers, telephones, printers, traffic, etc.)
